St. Christoph is a small, but perfectly formed resort just up the road from St. Anton.

The incredible Arlberg ski area is a quick express chairlift away, giving you convenient access to the 276km of pistes that this area has to offer.
St. Christoph is quieter than St. Anton, there are a few very nice bars and restuarants but if you are after boisterous apres-ski, you would be better off staying in either St. Anton or Lech.
Staying in St Christoph allows you to take advantage of most of what the Arlberg region has to offer. Popular ski-alternatives in the area include the cross-country ski trails of 40km, evening tobogganing, ice-skating and curling.

The Arlberg-well.com centre offers a range of spa facilities if you are looking to spend your time off the slopes relaxing in order to feel renewed for the next day.

The Arl.rock sports centre is a fantastic sports complex that offers a wide range of indoor sports such as bowling, tennis, football and swimming. Situated in St Anton, it is definitely worth a visit to explore the vast expanse of indoor and outdoor climbing and abseiling walls covering 60 boulders at six different difficulty levels with over 100 possible routes. This is a great activity for a family outing and can be rounded off with a bite to eat or drink at the resto-bar.

Horse-drawn sleigh rides are a fun and relaxed way to experience the true nature of the Austrian Alps. The excursions take place in the romantic Verwall Valley and the route runs from the horse shelter opposite Hotel Mooserkreuz to the Verwall Inn for a coffee and cake.
Advance bookings are required via Mr Thomas Bals on 0043 (0) 664 5308441.

Not for the faint-hearted, Paragliding is an unforgettable way to experience an adrenalin rush with stunning scenery. There are a few tandem flights and paragliding schools that offer fantastic opportunities to discover the massive peaks, beautiful turquoise mountain lakes and untouched nature of the Arlberg region. Flight Connection Arlberg offers beginner courses which are all conducted by nationally certified flight instructors.

St. Christoph has some incredible restuarants, including the world famous Hospiz.

St Christoph is the most family favourite village in the Arlberg region as it shares all the amenities of its neighbours St Anton and Lech but is undisturbed by the infamous nightlife. In the village, you are only ever a short distance from the pistes which is convenient for families looking to maximise their time on the slopes.

The Ski Schule Arlberg has an office in the village and a well-equipped beginners’ area with a playground, draglift and magic carpet. There is also a kindergarten for younger children that offers childcare from experienced nannies. The ski lessons cater for a range of abilities from complete beginners to confident young skiers looking to enhance their techniques or off-piste adventures.

The Arl.Rock sports centre is the ultimate family outing in St Anton, offering a range of sports and something for everyone across its tennis courts, squash courts, four lane bowling alley and array of climbing and abseiling walls. There is also a great resto-bar to relax in and grab a bite to eat after an energetic tennis match or climbing lesson.

There are many toboggan runs across the ski area including a natural sled run starting in Gampen and finishing in the Rodelstall in Nasserein. This is a great activity to do on a day off from skiing, or in the evening as a magical family outing. Toboggan rental is available in most sports shops and starts at 9€.
